Pride Worship Service on Sunday, June 14
8:45 AM PRAIRIE WORSHIP at The Resource Exchange Building
(6385 Corporate Dr., Prairie’s new office location)
A highlight of our Pride worship service will be special words from Rev. Kevin Hudson. Please note that our June 14th worship service will take place at The Resource Exchange building (where Prairie’s new office is located) instead of at Banning Lewis. We are making this shift to allow folks to participate in worship AND march in the Pride parade that day. So don’t show up at the BLPA school that day! Also note the time change - worship will be at 8:45 am.

After our 8:45 am worship (which should end around 9:15 am)
We'll drive to the Acacia Park area (intersection of Platte Avenue & Tejon Street), walk over and line up at 9:35 am in our designated spot on the parade route. The Pride Parade starts at 10 am and proceeds south on Tejon Street to Alamo Square Park area.
Pride Sign Making
Sunday, June 7, 11 AM to 11:45 am BLPA Cafeteria
Stay after worship on June 7 and make your sign that you can carry during the Pride Parade. We will provide inspiration and ideas, in addition to all the materials you will need (sign/poster, markers, paint sticks, duct tape, etc). It's potluck Sunday too...so you can eat and create at the same time!
Volunteer at Our Pride Festival Booth
Help spread the word about our welcoming, gay-friendly church! We’ll be handing out brochures and offering a fun button-making activity. We need friendly faces to share info and help with the craft. Ideally, 3–4 people per 2-hour shift. Slots are available Saturday, June 13, and Sunday, June 14. Sign up HERE or at worship.
